Part of a series on deep-seated faith. A deep sea diver relies on his airline as contact with the surface above in order to stay alive and breathe in an alien environment. Without this airline, it would mean death. The tears of the person become the airline down to the diver inside. In difficult situations we face it can sometimes get darker before it gets light. At this point people can let go of hope or abandon their belief. It is in these situations that what we are hooked up to is important. It may be the very thing we need to sustain us. You can't rely on someone else's air line.

I was also thinking of God breathing life into man. Will we abandon the airline? Will it be clogged by doubt, fear etc?
