'A gallery is a public space, is a place where Art happens - from an opening to a closing date. In between removal and set-up there is cleaning.
This is not Art!
Isn't it?
A gallery is a non-public place that is cleaned in-between Art!
idsct is a performance, is a concert, is an installation, is movement.'
idsct is an on-going experiment driven by creative curiosity.
idsct is open during the usual opening hours of the gallery to anybody who shares this curiosity about what's going on between gallery shows.
idsct is about the sound of the familiar process of cleaning.
investigation means questions. I don't expect answers - just more questions.
dances means movement.
cleaning means the process.
tools mean means. Transformation from the purpose of means...
If these words rouse your curiosity you're invited...
Please bring anything that you use for cleaning like sweepers, brooms, vacuum-cleaners, buckets, cloths etc. Give them to idsct but be prepared that this transformation will leave them unsuitable for further cleaning.' HL
