| Des Crawley is currently Professor and Director of the Centre for Digital Media at the University of Western Sydney, Australia. He was from 1979 to 1997 Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Western Sydney and retired from this senior position to pursue teaching and research interest in photography and digital media. He was the Foundation President of the Photo Imaging Educators' Association of Australasia and is the current Vice President of that organisation for the United States with particular responsibility for international programme development. |
